Happy New Year 2010 January 2, 2010
Thanks to my good neighbors, Jodi and Mandi, I am now officially going to try this whole blogging thing. Wish me luck !!! I thought it would be a good opportunity to get info to Tanner while he is serving in New Zealand and keep him updated in another format besides our weekly emails.
Today Chris, Jarred, Adam, Zach(neighbor) Kourtney (token female-Jarred's friend) went up skiing and snowboarding to Wolf Mountain. Luckily no injuries. They had a great time, now all we need is more snow. Evidently Chris needs to update his skiis from the 1980's as Jarred's comment to him this morning was " dad, are you really going to use those??" So, I guess on the list of items to purchase are some new skis for dad.
Elder Tanner Walsh
This is our missionary son, serving in New Zealand. He is currently in the city of Christchurch on the south island. He loves serving the Lord and is being blessed daily. He would want everyone to know that missionaries could "always use more ties."

Jarred is a junior at Clearfield HS. There is not much that Jarred doesn't do. He has enjoyed some down time inbetween football and before baseball conditioning starts. He reminds us almost daily that he would love a new Kia Forte.

Adam is 14 and a 9th grader at Legacy Junior High. He is VERY social. One of the most important things to him is scheduling time with his friends. Adam has a good attitude and is very helpful and obedient. He may not hear you if you call him Adam, but he usually will respond to hey "Walshy".
